Twice as nice – recycle your used head scarves and wigs

Help us to offer free headwear to those who can’t afford it. Simply donate your head scarves, wigs, wig stands and any other useful bits. We wash them and beautifully re pack them, tied with a pink ribbon and wrapped in tissue paper. Then we give them to people in hospitals and hospices. If your wig looks too well worn them we will use them in hairdressing demo’s…nothing will go to waste.

How do I donate these items.
Although we do re-clean everything you send us we kindly ask that all items are freshly cleaned before sending to us. Then pop your items in the post with a cover note with your contact details so we can get in touch and say thank you. Contact details: Your name, address, email (if you have one), telephone number.

Twice as nice – recycle your used head scarves
Waste not want not...From our founder Jasmin Julia Gupta…

”In December 2008 I went to Charing Cross hospital and cut my friend Caroline’s long hair into a pixie crop as she was starting chemo the next day and we knew her hair would go. Caroline never wore her wig but decided to have a pick and mix of head scarves. She took all 8 scarves that I had to offer her!

The following year it was such a lovely surprise that when her hair started to grow back (she had a good inch by the following August) she handed me a big bag containing all of her head scarves, the unworn wig and accessories “Here you are darling”, she said…"can you do anything with these?”.

Yes, I thought I can,…so Twice as Nice was created. You can send me any used head scarves, wigs and accessories. We wash them and beautifully re pack them, tied with a pink ribbon and wrapped in tissue paper. Then we give them to people in hospitals and hospices”.

Thank you for your support
