Talking to your medical team BEFORE having treatments

Most doctors and medical teams are used to people asking about alternative and complementary therapies as these are a common support for those being treated by cancer.

It is a must to check with your doctor before having any type of treatment.

If they say no, then ask them to explain why and to recommend another type of therapy. It may also be the case that they say no to a certain type of treatment for a period of time, but are happy for you to go ahead once a certain concern is out of the way.

The sense of wellbeing, relaxation, and caring touch to the head, scalp, body and mind, that these treatments offer can be a great support and comfort when dealing with hair loss and cancer.
