If you need a hairpiece to cover hair thinning or patchy hair loss as a result of cancer treatment, then you should be able to get a hairpiece (as you would a wig) by referral letter from your specialist or GP to an NHS approved wig supplier. You are best advised to contact your local NHS supplier.
