Counselling services

Having to deal with cancer can be tough enough, so it is completely understandable that some people say that hair loss can feel like the final straw. But you don’t have to go through it alone as there are some really fantastic counselling services that can offer you help and support. People experience a range of emotions, both positive and negative, during treatment and hair loss. Whilst a counsellor is not a hair specialist they are used to talking to people about hair loss issues and helping them deal with it and feel better.

Counselling services:

CCT The Cancer Counselling Trust
The Cancer Counselling Trust offers face to face counselling in London and telephone counselling across the UK. They work with cancer patients, their families, friends and care givers who seek counselling to help them through the difficult issues precipitated by a cancer diagnosis. They provide free, specialist counselling for anyone impacted by cancer and are used to talking to people about how they feel about hair loss and the emotions that this can stir up.
